Why should I invest in Real Estate?

Our heading reads "invest with us" but what it really boils down to is "investing in yourself" and your financial future. 

 

Let us ask you a question. What does financial freedom look like to you?

Alberta.ca (2) recently released their 2018-2019 First Quarter Fiscal Update & Economic Statement indicating that Alberta's economic recovery is on track with a GDP rate of 2.7% in 2018; highest of all the Provinces. A forecast growth of 2.7% up from estimated 2.5% for 2019; still higher than the national average. Alberta may still be feeling the affects of the recession, however, we are still on the rise to pre-recession size.

ATB published their August 2018 Economic Outlook Report and Alberta's job market is slowly on the mend and is looking positive for the next year. The unemployment rate has dropped substantially from a whopping 7.9% in 2007 and a forecasted 6.1% for 2019 and 5.8% in 2020 (3). With a steady increase in job creation, also means that wage increase will follow.

Additionally, an improving labour market in the Province, has naturally attracted interprovincial migrants; and will only continue to grow as the economy continues to improve. This year alone, there is an expected 5,000 interprovincial inflow. On the contrary, other Canadian provinces such as Toronto and Vancouver will continue to expect to see housing affordability issues. Hence, why investing in Alberta will look attractive to investors; due to having a large number of areas that can provide a steady monthly cash flow and positive appreciation.

Lastly, we all know that the housing market has been somewhat benched However, an oversupplied market is a prime opportunity for savvy investors to purchase properties undervalue and maximize their returns on a long-term basis.
